The Opportunity

We have an opportunity for an experienced Senior Planner to join our buying team to optimise supply and replenishment activities within our business. The role is responsible for forecasting and managing inventory levels, improving supply and replenishment processes and ensuring our model continues to meet future business requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage and support sales and profit margins that meet or exceed budget for all our brand merchandise
  • Drive and establish the store profiling process to ensure profit maximisation is achieved through effective management of stock at the state and store level
  • Oversee and guide the new store roll out process from a stock perspective to ensure new stores launch on time with full availability on these lines 
  • Simplify processes to remove costs and improve efficiency and service output and reduce loss in the supply and replenishment model
  • Review future business needs to ensure our supply and replenishment model continues to stay ahead of requirements and needs 
  • Protect the business from financial loss, reputational damage & legal proceedings through a diligent, strategic & conscientious approach

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Intermediate or above Microsoft Office skills, including macros, pivot tables and V-lookup
  • Strong analytical skills and logical thinking ability
  • Ability to convey information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals/groups at all levels
  • Ability to manage time and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business or a similar stream
  • A background within FMCG and/or Specialist Retail
